On 30th September 2019 is the second day of Navaratri Goddess Brahmacharini would be worshipped. She is the second manifestation of Goddess Durga.

Brahmacharini means ‘Brahma’ (penance) and “Charini” (female follower/ devotee) as a result, she is the symbol of the Goddess who performs Tapa or hard penance. Brahmacharini means a devoted female who lives in an ashrama with her Guru along with other students.
Worshipping her invokes the spirit of penance and devotion. The colour preferred to be worn on the second day is Green as a symbol of virtue and nobility.
